About Us
Robbye Edwards, CHP
Salt and Light Wellness
Hi, I'm Robbye, daughter, wife, mother and Child of God. It is my fervent prayer that you will join with Josey and me to find hope and healing for yourself and all those whose lives you touch.
This journey began for me upon discovering cancer in our family pet. That diagnosis led me to the reality of the toxins in our environment and how detrimental they are to each of us.
In 2017, I discovered the world of functional medicine when our daughter was diagnosed with abdominal migraine. Conventional medicine and a pharmacy full of prescriptions offered no hope. The Lord, in all His mercy, gave us a divine connection to a functional MD who worked with our daughter and turned her life around. She helped our daughter heal her leaky gut and put her back on track for college.
As I learned more about functional medicine, I began to recognize my own health challenges. In 2022, I explanted, soon after my husband and I became empty nesters. With the Lord's help and a few lifestyle changes, I have been able to detox to lessen migraines, support chronic infections, and conquer MTHFR, eczema and life altering depression.
I attained my certification as a CHP in 2023. I would love the opportunity to help you fill your wellness toolbox with all the good things God has provided for your journey. Join Josey and me in finding peace with your body.

Josey Edwards Wellness
Hi friend! I'm Josey. My health and wellness journey started in 2022 after a miscarriage with my first pregnancy at 12 weeks. After the initial shock, the numerous health issues that followed were discouraging, to say the least. I became depressed and felt hopeless about my health.
I saw several health practitioners and was prescribed many protocols, including hormone replacement therapy, antibiotics, diagnostic testing, and more, but wasn't seeing any positive results with my health. In fact, I felt worse. I tried to find answers for myself, and spent hours and hours scouring the internet, yet I felt like I was making no progress.
Around that time, my mother-in-law started attending The School of Christian Health and Nutrition. She shared with me the principles she was learning, and with no other answers, I started applying them to myself. I began to see healing in places I was not seeing gains previously. I even saw improvement in places I wasn't even trying to heal (like my eyesight)! I was amazed by this holistic approach to health. I couldn't believe what I was learning, and how many people don't know about these simple, yet powerful principles. In 2024, I decided to become certified as a Christian Health Practitioner.
I am so excited to share these principles with you. God designed our bodies to heal. My goal as a Christian Health Practitioner is to come alongside you to educate, encourage and empower you to take control of your body's natural ability to heal itself. I can't want to meet you and partner with you on your wellness journey. I believe your future is bright!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
FAQs
What is a Christian Health Practitioner (CHP)?
The goal of a Christian Health Practitioner (CHP) is to coach clients through nutritional and lifestyle recommendations which will ultimately be supportive of health. Recommendations are made through understanding of the foundational aspects of health (a nutrient-dense diet, hydration, movement and exercise, rest and sleep, sunlight, time in nature), and better health is a natural consequence. CHPs assess the bio-individual needs of each client and create a personalized, holistic plan for nutrition and lifestyle change.
What do your services include?
Once you book a New Client Consult, you will receive intake forms that will provide your CHP with information about your health history and current symptoms. At your appointments, your CHP will go over your history/forms and discuss a protocol for you. You will also receive access to a client portal which includes:
• Detailed session notes;
• Discounts on professional grade supplements;
• Integrated food and lifestyle journaling; and
• Messaging with your CHP (for questions between sessions).
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance. All appointments are cash pay, however, we do extend discounted rates on supplements to all active clients.
In some instances, you may be able to use your FSA/HSA card to pay for services. If you plan to use your FSA/HSA, please check with your plan administrator before booking an appointment, to ensure you can use your card to pay for health and nutritional coaching.
